Caught 4 Employees Parked with Trucks Running, Watching a Movie!
One of our main reasons for the GPS was to cut down on idling time. I had 4 motor coaches in St Augustine. I called one of the drivers to ask a question about their itinerary for later in the day. After talking for awhile, some of his comments seemed a little strange. I looked at the GPS and saw all 4 buses parked together idling. They had all been sitting there for 4 hours wasting fuel. When I called back to one of the drivers and asked what everybody was doing, I was told that they were all in the same bus watching a movie! I made a fake invoice for each driver for the fuel consumption and presented it to each driver as they arrived back to the office.
