Fleet Tracking Alerts
FleetMatics GPS Alerts are a useful tool in monitoring unconventional or undesired behavior. By setting an Alert, you will be notified the moment any such vehicle behavior occurs through an automated e-mail, as html or plain text, which can be delivered to any number of key recipients. Alerts are also flagged in the Alerting section, on the FleetMatics system, and Live Fleet Section.

4 Types of Alerts:
- Point of Interest (POI) Alerts – Be notified the moment a vehicle enters and/or exits a specific POI.
- Vehicle Activity Alert – Be notified the instant a vehicle moves during a specific timeframe.
- Red Flag Alert – Be notified the minute a vehicles exceeds a specified speed threshold.
- Idling Alert – Be notified the instant any vehicle crosses the idling threshold you set.
