Customer Connect: Our Customers Are Speaking Out

Share Your StoryFleetMatics’ Customer Connect center has been live for four months now and we are thrilled with the participation.

FleetMatics customers have had the opportunity to learn from their peers by sharing how they use GPS tracking and what successes they’ve experienced by using our system.

Each month, we provided a question for our customers to answer. They then have the opportunity to see what other FleetMatics users are saying and ask questions about their experiences. They are also entered to win five free Garmin units each or a $200 gift card. We have had two Garmin winners and four gift card winners so far!

All of these stories, comments, and questions are posted in our new Customer Connect Center. By sharing and reading each others’ success stories, our customers are able to learn new ways of using our software, as well as network with business owners and fleet managers with similar challenges.

This month’s question is: How have you seen fuel usage change since implementing FleetMatics?

Response has been great so far. Some snippets:

“Before installing the GPS units we were sending vans from north to south and east to west with a result of a super high fuel bill. Now that we have the FleetMatics GPS units we can see where every vehicle is and the dispatcher can route the closest vehicle to the next job.”

“Our fuel bill has decreased by over 25%. The primary reason for this has been the reduction in vehicle idling time. After the system was implemented, we found that we were spending over $800.00/month in idling gas alone. We also found out that some of our crews were just sitting in the trucks (up to 3 hrs at a time) with the trucks running.”
