Jim TraversJames M. Travers

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Travers has over 30 years of industry experience selling and marketing high technology products and services. In addition he has diverse experience successfully building high growth companies in the public and private sectors.

Mr. Travers joined FleetMatics as CEO in September 2006. He has responsibility for the company’s global operation and strategic direction.

Prior to joining FleetMatics, Mr. Travers served as SVP of Geac Corporation [NASDAQ GAC] a publicly traded $500M enterprise software services company. He had operational responsibility for Geac’s America’s business division the company’s largest and most profitable business. During his tenure his division completed two successful acquisitions [Comshare/Extensity] which significantly increased the company’s revenue and profit growth. The company was acquired by Golden Gate Software for $1.2B in cash.

Prior to Geac, Mr. Travers served as CEO/COO of Harbinger Corporation [NASDAQ HRBC], a leading global provider of e-business software and services. During his 6 year tenure the company was taken public and delivered profitable revenue growth of $18m to over $170m. The company’s organic growth was augmented with a series of successful acquisitions. The company was sold to Peregrine Systems [PRGS] for $1.3B in June 2000.

Prior to Harbinger, Mr. Travers had a successful 15 year career with Texas Instruments Inc. [TXN]. He held senior level VP positions in sales and marketing as well as division general management. His last position was VP Division manager of TI’s software application business based in Dallas, TX.

Mr. Travers holds a BS degree in Business from Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and has completed Master of Business Administration studies at the University of Texas in Austin TX.

John GogginJohn J Goggin

Senior Vice President, Global Sales

John Goggin has over 30 years experience in the Telematics and Commercial refrigeration business. Currently, John has global sales responsibility for the company's SaaS delivered software service.

John created and established the Fleetmatics sales model and has over 10 years international experience in the vehicle Telematics industry. He has led FleetMatics' sales function since its inception and he is directly responsible for managing sales operations in Europe and the United States.

Prior to joining FleetMatics, Goggin held the position of UK/IRL Sales Director for Minor Planet Systems Plc. He planned and implemented the extensive reorganisation of the large Sales force to put it on a profitable footing while, at the same time, continuing to expand sales through the creation of four highly successful regional sales centres.

In 1998, Monitcom Ltd, an Irish fleet telematics company, was set up by John Goggin to market the Minorplanet Systems Plc (MPS) telematics system under a franchise agreement in Ireland. John, in his capacity as Sales Director, recruited a sales team and, within one year, Monitcom became the leading vehicle telematics company in Ireland. Monitcom was the only independent franchisee and over the following three years it became the most successful company within the worldwide broader MPS group.

Prior to 1998, John spent 22 years in the commercial industrial refrigeration industry and held various sales leadership positions. From 1990-1998, he served as Sales Director of Cross Group, Ireland's leading HVAC contractor.

Goggin is a graduate of Presentation College, Cork.

Peter MitchellPeter Mitchell

Chief Technical Officer

Mr. Mitchell has over 13 years of experience in the telematics and software services industry. Ten of those years have been specifically focused in the telematics industry. He has extensive experience in GPS wireless systems and the successful design and delivery of high performance scalable SaaS delivered solutions.

Peter has been CTO of FleetMatics since it’s inception in 2004. He architected the FleetMatics SaaS and is responsible for technology and product advancement in the company. He works interactively within the telematics industry, dealing directly with hardware and mapping suppliers and with the FleetMatics growing customer base. In addition to his significant experience with GPS based wireless technology, he provides the company with forward-looking research into emerging technologies that the company will need.

Peter was CTO and founding partner of WS2, formed 1998. In 2000, he designed and rolled out a platform for Europe’s then largest tracked fleet (a 6,000 vehicle project in the UK). He also implemented the world’s first GPRS tracked fleet in 2001. In 2004, WS2 were acquired by FleetMatics.

Prior to WS2/FleetMatics, Peter worked for Microsoft Corporation in its European headquarters in Dublin, working on the Visual Studio team that developed Visual Basic 6. He also spent time in engineering research in Trinity College Dublin.

Peter holds a BAI in Engineering, a BA in Mathematics and an MSc in Mathematical modeling, all from Trinity College Dublin.

Dennis L. Abrahams

Chief Operating Officer

Dennis has over 20 years experience selling information technology and analytics-based products.
 
Dennis joined FleetMatics in August 2010 when Fleetmatics acquired 100% of the outstanding stock of SageQuest. In his present capacity, Dennis serves as COO of FleetMatics, as well as retaining his responsibility as leader of SageQuest.
 
Dennis served as President and CEO of SageQuest since its inception in August of 2003. During his tenure, the company grew to one of the largest  and most profitable telematics companies in North America, focusing on companies with 20 vehicles to thousands of vehicles, and specialising in larger fleets with more complex administrative, mapping and integration requirements.
 
Prior to joining SageQuest, Dennis was President and CEO of Harris InfoSource. Harris marketed profiles of America's largest 1,000,000 companies and sold a variety of web-based products to over 25,000 customers on an annual basis. Harris grew to become one of the largest largest information companies in North America prior to its sale to Dun and Bradstreet in September 2001. After the acquisition, Dennis stayed on in his role as President of Harris Infosource until taking on his role as President and CEO of SageQuest in August 2003.
 
Prior to Harris Infosource, Dennis held positions in Sales, Marketing and Operations.
 
Dennis holds a BS in Communications from Miami University as well as a masters degree in Organisational Development.

Steve LifshatzSteve Lifshatz

Chief Financial Officer

Steve Lifshatz has over 30 years of experience in financial and general management roles in both public and private technology and services companies.  Mr. Lifshatz joined FleetMatics in December, 2010 and has overall responsibility for the financial management, accounting, legal, treasury, and facilities aspects of the business.

Prior to FleetMatics, Mr. Lifshatz was engaged by several private equity firms to assist in their development and expansions of certain portfolio companies, including several in the SaaS space, and assisted a public software company where he was a member of the Board to navigate its acquisition by another public company.

Previously, Mr. Lifshatz served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Lionbridge Technologies, a $450-million publicly held software and services company. He played an active role in the tremendous growth of Lionbridge from its inception, driving its global expansion and M&A activities, together with leading the company’s IPO and secondary offerings.

Prior to this, Mr. Lifshatz served as Vice President and CFO for The Dodge Group, an international software company, and as a senior financial officer for Marcam Corporation, a process-ERP software business from startup-phase through its global status as a significant publicly-held software company.

Mr. Lifshatz currently sits on the Board of CRS, a private software company.

Karen LeavittKaren Leavitt

Chief Marketing Officer

Karen Leavitt has more than 30 years of experience growing high technology companies and has extensive experience in corporate branding, corporate positioning, product marketing, and executing large-scale web-centric marketing programs. Ms. Leavitt is experienced in maximizing customer value across all stages of the customer lifecycle.

Before joining FleetMatics, Ms. Leavitt was CMO at Landslide Technologies, a privately-held, customer relationship management (CRM) software provider where she oversaw all aspects of the company's product marketing and management, interactive and corporate marketing, and customer care.

Prior to Landslide, Ms. Leavitt was CMO at Mzinga, a provider of on-demand social software solutions for major global brands. In that role, she developed a unified product strategy to address the highly customized needs of enterprise customers, as well as the rapid-deployment requirements of mid-size businesses.

Before Mzinga, Ms. Leavitt was Vice President of Marketing for WebEx WebOffice, where she was responsible for product strategy, marketing, and customer service. Ms. Leavitt previously served as Vice President of Marketing at Intranets.com, which was acquired by WebEx in September 2005.

Karen has held leadership roles in marketing, customer service, and development at NewsEdge Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, Phoenix Technologies, and Lotus Development Corporation. Karen is an active speaker and participant in various industry and marketing events.

Ms. Leavitt attended Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Drew ReynoldsDrew Reynolds

Senior Vice President, Global Business Development

Mr. Reynolds leads FleetMatics' global growth efforts and has over 15 years of successful experience helping software businesses grow through targeted new business development initiatives.

Prior to FleetMatics, Mr. Reynolds was the SVP of corporate development at Art Technology Group, Inc. (ATG), a $210M publicly traded provider of ecommerce software applications and services, where he was responsible for strategic planning, M&A, and alliances. During his tenure at ATG he executed several acquisitions and managed its growth into emerging markets. ATG was acquired by Oracle Corp. in 2011 for $1.0B.

Prior to ATG, Mr. Reynolds was the VP of corporate development at Hyperion Solutions, an $800M publicly traded provider of business intelligence software and financial software applications. His responsibilities at Hyperion included strategic planning, M&A and post-merger integration. During his tenure he executed numerous acquisitions that helped to double Hyperion’s revenue. Hyperion was acquired by Oracle Corp. in 2007 for $3.3B.

Mr. Reynolds has also held positions in management consulting, strategic marketing, and sales.  He received his MBA from Cornell University and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
