K.I.T. Transportation, Inc. is a family owned and operated Contract Motor carrier specializing in flat bed hauling. They haul precast concrete and other materials used in the construction of buildings, parking garages, and bridges. Since 1985, they have been successfully hauling out of their Hannacroix, NY location to NYC and the surrounding areas.
The Challenge:
K.I.T. were looking for a way to improve accountability of their drivers and reduce unauthorized fleet vehicle use. They needed a system to more accurately calculate hours worked to reduce unnecessary overtime claims. Customer service and safety were other key areas that K.I.T.
